Agatha Christie: Appointment With Death!

January 25th, 2010 by admin

“Among the towering red cliffs and ancient ruins of Petra sits the corpse of Mrs. Boynton. A tiny puncture mark, the only sign of the fatal injection that killed her. Hercule Poirot recalls a remark he overheard back in Jerusalem: “You do see, don’t you, that she’s got to be killed?” Mrs. Boynton was, indeed, the most detestable woman he had ever met. With only 24 hours to solve the case, can Poirot find the killer amongst so many suspects?”

I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed with the adaptation. I just saw it last week. Obviously, they did a lot of revisions. But the plot is still there.. Still, I’m quite disappointed. The first sentence in the book “You do see, don’t you, that she’s got to be killed?” was obviously cut out. Err.. One of the main reasons why Hercule Poirot got so curious about the person who said that.

Anyhoo, I don’t hate them for that. Haha! I still love watching the tv show. Thanks to.. ehem.. the people who never get tired of uploading the videos. =) Kudos to you whoever you are.

After this, I’ll probably load/buffer the newly released episode “Clocks”. I’m still waiting for the “Three Act Tragedy” episode. :D Hope someone will upload it soon! ;)

Looking for mobile ebooks? I suggest wattpad for that matter. Believe it or not but I think I already read 20 Agatha Christie ebooks and all Harry Potter ebooks. I’m actually contemplating whether to read the Twilight Saga ebooks or not. I’m not much of a first person reader and the fact that I’m not a twilight fan too.

Aside from the popular books I’ve mentioned above, you can also find some pretty interesting fiction mobile ebooks made by other wattpad members. Oh, and if you’re an aspiring author, you can also submit your works too.

sidenote: Most of them are about.. vampire stories. LOL. Okay, don’t get me wrong, I like vampires and stuff, but it’s becoming more and more redundant.

Moving on,

To install it in your phone, there are two ways.

1) download mobile ebooks to your computer and transfer it using your mobile’s usb cable
2) if you have mobile internet connection, then head on to m.wattpad.com

Pretty simple right? Happy reading!

Agatha Christie

I’ve been sleeping late nowadays. Why you may ask? Mainly because I’m becoming addicted to Agatha Christie’s detective books! Gahh! I actually manage to finished 2 of her popular books (in 2 days) which are Sleeping Murder and Murder in the Orient Express.

All I can say is that, the story plots are all amazing! Agatha Christie is one heck of a woman! A brilliant author I may say. Haha! She’s now one of my favorite author next of course to J.K Rowling. :)

And now, I’m undecided on what to read next. Hmm..
